A one-year postgraduate programme grounded in the fundamentals of marketing, such as consumer behaviour, market research, communications and campaign planning. Studying at a time when the industry was still transitioning from traditional to digital, it gave me a strong grounding in the principles that underpin all good marketing, regardless of channel. Everything that came after built on top of that foundation.

A degree focused on understanding how power, institutions and international relations work  and how to think rigorously about them. Alongside political theory and global affairs, the programme built strong skills in critical analysis, research, constructing arguments and communicating complex ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally. It also developed the kind of independent thinking, initiative and collaborative working that I rely on every day in marketing, knowing how to read a situation, synthesise information quickly and make a well-reasoned case.

Objective: Increase online presence and engagement for a B2C client in the MMA sector.

What I did: Designed and executed targeted Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns using a blend of PPC and organic content. Focused on visually engaging posts and audience-specific messaging to boost reach and interaction.

Objective: Enhance brand visibility and drive consistent audience engagement across multiple platforms.

What I did: Managed and created content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and blog, tailoring posts to each platform’s audience. Prioritised human-focused stories, staff achievements and practical tips to drive interaction. Developed and sent email campaigns and promoted blog posts to drive website traffic via social media.

Outcome: Consistent growth in follower count across platforms, with peak engagement on posts highlighting staff and events. Increased website visits from social media, especially for blog content.

Objective: Build a strong visual identity and a fully connected digital presence for a gaming industry client.

Deliverables: Logo design, marketing materials, website design and build, CMS integration with third-party tools.

What I did: Designed the brand identity — logo and supporting marketing materials — giving the client a bold, recognisable visual presence suited to the gaming sector. Built and designed the website, then connected the CMS to a stack of tools including Featvalue/Canny for product feedback, HubSpot for CRM and marketing automation, and Apollo.io for outreach. Set up Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel to ensure full tracking and attribution from launch — creating a joined-up system where the website fed directly into the client’s sales, marketing and analytics workflows.

Outcome: Delivered a cohesive brand and a fully operational website with an integrated tech stack, giving the client a professional public-facing presence backed by the infrastructure to capture leads, gather user feedback and run outbound campaigns from day one.

Brand Identity Revamp, Collateral & Website

Objective: Refresh the visual identity, build a new website, and create a cohesive suite of brand collateral for a circular-economy pallet business supplying SMEs and major supply chains across the UK.

About the client: The Pallets Yard Ltd has been recovering, repairing and supplying second-hand wooden and plastic pallets since 2006. A trusted circular-economy partner based in Southall, they joined Team Heathrow in 2023 and were featured on BBC News in November 2025.

What I did: Refreshed the brand’s visual identity — updating the logo and colour palette to give the business a more polished, professional presence while keeping established brand recognition. Built out the website from scratch using Elementor, set up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for tracking, then created a full suite of print and promotional collateral, ensuring everything felt consistent and purposeful across every touchpoint. For the flyers and postcard, I also wrote the copy — shaping messaging that reflected TPYL’s circular-economy ethos and spoke clearly to their target audience of logistics, warehousing and supply chain businesses.

Outcome: Delivered a cohesive, professional brand identity and collateral suite ready for use across trade events, client meetings and direct marketing — giving the business the visual credibility to match their growing reputation, including their Approved Supplier status within Team Heathrow.
